In Perdana College, learning is integrated with IT. Computer & IT Services is responsible for providing academic and administrative computing and networking, audiovisual and media services along with training and support for centrally managed teaching laboratories. The Library Services essentially comes under this umbrella too.
Computer & IT Services aims to enhance the learning, teaching, and administration of the College through:
delivering a reliable and efficient service;
continuing to upgrade our services through innovation;
anticipating and responding to stakeholders' needs;
being a positive and supportive influence on the College's mission.
Computing & IT Services comprise of three Centres, all providing a relaxing studying environment. The Computer:Student ratio is a low 1:3. The College broadband network provides all of these computers with connections to the Internet, Intranet and local file servers.
The following facilities are amongst those offered in the Centres:
Friendly and experienced staff provide a help desk service for advice and assistance to students and staff throughout normal opening hours;
Quality computing facilities accessible during College opening hours;
A wide range of up-to-date software is available on all computers;
Helpful guides and computer based training materials;
Data access ports scattered throughout the campus allowing personal Laptop computers to access the College Intranet and the Internet;
All students are provided with a personal computer account and Webmail available on and off-campus via the Internet;
High speed access to the Internet free of charge;
Many machines equipped with multimedia facilities.
The College servers have been upgarded to Windows XP, which has greater security features. MS Outlook has junk mail filtering service.

From F07 Semester onward, course selection will go online via EASY. This allows you to login from anywhere to do course selection.
