In the College, teaching is offered primarily in traditional formats including small group lectures, seminars, tutorials, laboratory and other practical classes, and field work. However, ICT has increasingly been employed to deliver teaching more flexibly, including:
Use of online resources to support individual study by students.
Introduction of EASY as the College's virtual learning environment, with a gradual integration with other administrative systems to provide a managed and self-contained learning environment.
Use of Webmail for communication.
Academic staff take individual responsibility for their own continuous professional development in both their subject specialization and the skills needed for communicating that knowledge to students as effectively as possible. However, the College also provides a range of support for staff in this teaching role.
