The College recognizes that some students may have met the requirements for matriculation, but are not ready for the diploma / degree program yet either (a) because some subjects are not covered in their previous studies, or (b) they are not proficient in a particular area. This is particularly true in the aspects of English and Mathematics.

This Bridging Program is designed to assist the category of students mentioned above to attain a level of proficiency required to undertake a particular diploma program. The subjects for the Bridging Program include:

• English - Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Academic English
• IT Fundamentals - Office Applications and programming fundamental
• Circuits & Electronics
• Mathematics - Elementary Mathematics, Intermediate Mathematics, Finite Mathematics, College Algebra, and Calculus

Students will be assigned to an appropriate level based on the result of an assessment test.

The English Department also offers IELTS (International English Language Testing System) preparation course for students who plan to pursue their tertiary education in the USA, Australia, Canada, and the UK. The course prepares candidates who need to take the IELTS Academic Module.
