Purpose of the ESC

To help students in gaining competency in English. Areas which you can get assistance for include grammar and syntax, punctuation, essay writing, argumentation and logic and others.

We strongly urge you to avail yourselves of this facility to improve your English.

How ESC Works

In each semester, certain hours in a week are set aside as ESC workshops hours. On the given time, the lecturer-in-charge is available for assistance via the library. During the designated hours, you go to the librarian and ask him to contact the lecturer-in-charge. You don’t have to make any prior appointment.

• You can drop in anytime during the workshop hours.
• The instructor will meet you one-to-one or in a small group setting to provide assistance.
• Drop-in visitors are welcome, but students are encouraged to make appointments via email before hand to ensure that you are given the priority.
• If a few of you are facing the same problem, try to come together as a group.
