Students can study up to 45 credits in Perdana College before transferring their credits into the Final Year of the Computing program in our parent institution, UCSI University, Malaysia.
This program is intended for those who wish to pursue technical knowledge and ability in programming, databases, multimedia, object oriented methods, software development tools, intelligent systems, network security and human computer interaction. The 3-year programme provides students with a professional education in computer science, enabling you to acquire technical skills used in business systems development. The core areas included in the degree are Programming (Visual Basic Dot Net, Java), Database (Oracle 9i), Multimedia (Macromedia Director), Internet Technology, Programming and Object Oriented Modelling (Rational Rose), Networking, research and projects.
The program incorporates Co-Op, requiring student to do two months of industrial attachment per academic year. This provides students with invaluable working experience even before they graduate. The combination of classroom lectures and real life exposure enhance the employability of the graduates.
Students must meet the requisite English proficiency of either an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no band below 5.5) or a TOEFL score of 213 (computer based) / 550 (written based) or equivalent, and one of the following qualifications.
