The College recognize and supports the legitimate interests of students in obtaining credits from previous education obtained elsewhere. Credit may be granted to an enrolled student upon submission of the necessary application form and documentation in support of the application.
Students who have attended another university or college will be considered for admission and credit transfer if they are in good academic standing.
The following points will be taken into consideration as the College considers for credit transfer:
Candidates who have completed 24 or more transferable credit hours subsequent to graduation from high school with at least a 2.50 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average (which must be more than 65%) may be granted admission as transfer students. Such student will be granted entry to the course with "advance standing".
Students with fewer than 24 transferable credit hours must also meet the freshman admission requirements.
A student must be enrolled in the course for which credit transfer is being sought and must submit all the necessary application form and supporting documentation.
In general, credit may not be given if the subjects studied are more than five years old.
A student who is granted advanced standing will be advised in writing of the units to be completed for the relevant course.
Evidence that they have been tested at the appropriate level in the subjects concerned.
Evidence that the subject is of comparable weight with the Perdana subject.
At least half of the course must be through Perdana's subjects, particularly those of the later/higher level.
An applicant who wishes to transfer (at any level) from another college or university must arrange for a complete official transcript of record to be sent directly to the Admission Office by each institution previously attended. Such transcripts will not be returned to the applicant and will not be kept by the college if the student is refused admission, or do not enrol in the college after being granted admission status.
Other supporting documents to be included:
Evidence that they have completed subjects equivalent in content to the Perdana subject for which they are claiming credit.
Detailed documentary descriptions of the syllabi for the subjects.
