Since 1996, many students had graduated from Perdana and moved on to various universities in different countries. We will provide a regular update of these students in this section. In this issue, we feature Syeduzzaman and Nawreen Nishat.
Md. Syed uz Zaman
Syed uz Zaman is currently reading his last semester in the Northunbria University, UK, and is expected to complete his study by December 2007.
He enrolled in the Business Information Systems (BIS) program of Perdana College in 2004, immediately after his HSC. He chose this BIS program because it provides an excellent focus in the application of IT in the business environments, his area of interest. After completing 60 credits with Perdana, he transferred into the Final Year of the B.Sc.(hons) Applied Computing program in Northumbria University, a partner of our College. He is expected to obtain his honours degree in May 2008. Syed plans to pursue a Master upon his graduation.
When he returned for his summer vacation in July 2007, he paid a visit to the College. He highly appreciates the rigorous approach of Perdana's academic program and systems that is highly compatible with the Northumbria University.
Northumbria has consistently been ranked as the best new university in the UK.
Nawreen Nishat
Nawreen is another one of our numerous Pre-University Matriculation graduates. She joined the College after her SSC Examination in 2004.
She completed the PUP program in a year with flying colors and was awarded a Perdana scholarship. She chose Business Administration (major in Information Systems) program with a plan to complete her study in Acadia University, Canada, our partner university. She completed her 60 credits in 2 years and then transferred into Year 3 of the BBA program of the Fred C. Manning School of Business, Acadia University, in January 2007.
Acadia University has consistently been ranked as the best primarily undergraduate Canadian university for many years.
