Students Leaving Overseas
September 19, 2007
In late August and early September, a number of our students have successfully completed their studies in Dhaka and then moved on to our partner universities in Canada and Malaysia.
Two student are transferred into the Third Year of Bachelor of Computer Science program in Acadia University, Canada. Both of them have completed 60 credits with Perdana College and 100% of their credits were accepted by the Acadia University.
Perdana has a long standing partnership with Acadia University since 1996. Acadia University has the best reputation amongst Canadian primarily undergraduate universities according to the Maclean's Magazine.
Another batch of our students moved on to our parent institution, University College Sedaya International (UCSI), Malaysia, to continue and eventually complete their degrees there. The programs they study include B.A.(Hons.) Business Administration and B.Sc.(Hons.) Business Information Systems.
Under a special arrangement the College has with UCSI, students can also complete almost the full program in our Dhaka campus before transferring all their credits to UCSI to complete their degrees. Available programs include: Business Administration and Mobile Computing.
All the undergraduate programs in UCSI include a yearly CO-OP component, allowing the student to gain an invaluable six months' working experience even before they graduate. This innovative concept has also been introduced into our College.
