Inaugural Student Honour Pledge Ceremony
Perdana College recognizes and affirms the importance of character development and personal responsibility as essential elements of a Perdana education. Students are expected to embrace the core values of the College, which are:
- Excellence: Be committed to do all things to the highest possible standard.
- Responsibility: Be accountable for your actions and your learning.
- Honesty: Be truthful in your academic work and in your relationships.
- Respect: Be civil. Value the dignity of each person. Honor the physical and intellectual property of others.
- Integrity: Be trustworthy, fair and ethical.
All members of the college community are expected to uphold the values for themselves and others in their decisions and day-to-day interactions, in all areas of academic and nonacademic endeavors. Upon graduation, students are expected to have demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence and honor.
On May 6, in a gathering chaired by the Principal, Dr. Wong KH, all the students of the College met to mark their commitment to these values by taking the inaugural Student Honour Pledge together.
Khandakar Sayma Nasrin (BA (Hons) Accounting) led the ladies in administering the Pledge, while Sabbir Ahmed (UFP) did the same for the men. It is a solemn occasion with a sense of expectation lingering in the atmosphere.
