Career as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary via BA (Hons) Accounting from UCSI University
A professional accountant is a dream career for many aspiring students and professionals alike. Accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICMA, CA, or ICA are very sort after. Students generally sit for external examinations of the respective Boards to obtain such universally accepted qualifications.
However, some good quality Accounting undergraduate degrees enable students to be exempted from F1-F9 papers of the ACCA qualification. The BA (Hons) Accounting degree offered by UCSI University is one such program. That means, after completing the degree, students can enter the professional level of ACCA qualification directly. This approach offers a multitude of advantages to the candidates.
In addition, graduates of this BA (Hons) Accounting will also enjoy exemption from the Foundation Level of the Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Program of CPA Australia. The Accounting graduates only need to do the 6 professional papers of the CPA to qualify as an accountant after three years of practical experience.
Furthermore, graduates of this degree will also be exempted from Part 1 (IQS1) of the International Chartered Secretary Association (ICSA) Professional Scheme. The Accounting graduates only need to do the last 4 papers of the ICSA IQS2 requirement to qualify as a company secretary, another international recognition.
This seminar will highlight how the Accounting degree from the UCSI University, offered in Perdana College, allows SSC / HSC / "O" Level / "A" Level candidates to progress directly into ACCA without the need for either CAT or HND.
The speaker, a Perdana alumni, Mr. Ronel Chakma, has just recently graduated with a BA (Hons) Accounting from the UCSI University. He has received ACCA F1-F9 exemption and will sit for professional P1, P2 papers this June. He is also working as a Business Financial Analyst for a multinational firm.
The seminar will be conducted in both Bangla and English.
Any candidate who intends to pursue an ACCA qualification are warmly welcomed to this seminar. For further queries, Please call Mdm Mallika or Mr. Masud at (8802)9888088, 01819-249824, 01817-141777.
