On June 5, the students of Perdana College organized a Get-Together Party for the new and senior students. It was also attended by some of our graduate alumni who just returned from the UCSI University, Malaysia. A live music band and a lucky draw added to the festive atmosphere. On April 3, ReliSource Technologies, in conjunction with Perdana's School of Computing, Science & Technology, conducted a training seminar on Requirements and Design Engineering for Relisource's software engineers and Perdana's students on April 03 in the College auditorium. Approximately 25 IT professionals participated.
This coincides with Relisource's march toward achieving Level II of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Requirements Management is one of the key process areas (KPA) required by the certification process.

UCSI University, the parent university of Perdana College, won two prestigious awards recently.
On March 12, 2009, UCSI University received the Export Excellence Award - Education Services awarded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry at the Industry Excellence Awards 2008. This award was presented to UCSI University for its consistent efforts in exporting Malaysian education abroad through its international recruitment in terms of growth, facilities and marketing. UCSI University also clinched the BrandLaurate Award for Best Brand in Education (Tertiary Category) at the recent BrandLaureate – SMEs Chapter Awards 2008 ceremony.
