On Sept 25, Perdana College held its UFP Graduaton and Academic Award Ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Henry Coulter, Head of School of Humanities. The Principal Dr. Wong Kah Hieng gave away the scrolls and awards.
During the same occasion, the College also warmly welcomed its new Head of School of Business & Finance Mr. Gustaf Simandjuntak and his family.

Media & Cultural Club (MCC) of Perdana College organized a photography competition based on a photography field trip to Sonargoan. Perdana alumni and professional photographer Mr. Abu Saleh Mahmud Murshed was the official judge. Mr. Murshed also gave some tips on photography.

Perdana Students' Recreational and Cultural Tour of Darjeeling, Indian Himalaya, took place between December 26 - 30, 2009. The students and staff visited the key tourist attractions of Darjeeling such as Tiger Hill, Peace Stupa, Gompas, Batasi Loop, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. They also spent some time visiting the Tibetan Refugee Camp.
The video snippet below shows the wonderful sunrise over Himalaya as seen from the Tiger Hills lookout point; one can see the 3rd highest mountain in the world, Kanchanjunga. More videos are available in the YouTube.

The Winter temperature has been dropping across the country and everybody feel the chill. As part of our corporate social responsibility and to instill the spirit of social concern and compassion, the students and staff community of Perdana College launches a winter clothing collection to be distributed to the poor and needy, such as the street dwellers and the slum dwellers.
