This section of the Computing & IT Services provides advisory services for staff and students.

IT Help Desk

Purpose

To help students get familiarized with the College IT services, thereby facilitate them in their learning.

Target Audience

ALL students, especially new students.

Type of Services:

System Log in and associated issues

Usage of Outlook and Internet

Usage of Word processor

Usage of LINUX (Java Programming)

Format

Be present in Lab 1 during the designated sessions. There will be instructor around to provide the necessary guidance / assistance.

Service Time

In the first week, the instructor will be based in Lab 1 at a designated time daily. (The timing is posted in the General Bulletin Board of the Outlook.) Thereafter, you may make appointment with the instructor whenever you need assistance.

A number of software are commonly used by students during their course of studies in Perdana College. The Computing & IT Services have come up with a number of tutorials / manuals that aim to introduce students to these software. The following tutorials are currently available.
