As a regular student, you are entitled to the College Computing & IT Services. Computing & IT Services provides over open access 40 PCs (a ratio of 1:3) which you can use. You will obtain the following services:
A personal computing account;
Open access to all public computers in the campus;
Access to the necessary software for you to complete your studies;
Access to a personal e-mail account with necessary storage space;
Internet access from within the College;
A personal print quota and space on the network to save your work to;
Access to training and support to help you use the ICT resources available to you during your time at the College
Laptops Access for Students
There are numerous network data points located throughout the campus, allowing students to access the Intranet. Students have to register a laptop (for an IP address) for use on the College network. Contact the network administrator for this service.
All software packages in the PCs are Open Access in that everyone can make use of it.
The College software includes productivity software, technical software, graphics software, mathematical software, database software, various types of programming languages and modelling software.
