No visitor or outsider is allowed to enter the first floor, second floor or the roof-top of the College building without prior permission from the College authorities. A fine will be imposed on any student found bringing outsiders to restricted areas in the College without prior permission from the College authorities.
Students who wish to bring in a friend must first contact the Reception Office and then obtain a Visitor Card from the Security Office. The visitor must wear the Visitor Card at a prominent place at all time, and must return the Card upon exit from the College.
The Visitor Card does not entitle the visitor to enter Library and all laboratories.
Student ID is a unique code and is used to identify the student as who he/she is. It is an important document which the students must kept at all time. Please take note of the following:
The Student ID is nontransferable.
Students must wear the ID at a prominent place at all times in the College premises. Loss of the card must be reported to the College immediately. A charge will be imposed for a replacement card.
Students must show the ID to the College management and security office when being requested.
ID is required to enter Library, Laboratories, Classes, and Examination Rooms. Students with no ID will be barred from entry into these premises.
If you forget to bring your ID card, you are required to apply for a temporary ID card at the reception. With the temporary ID card, you will be allowed into class, but not the Computer Lab and Library, unless your class is held there. The administrative charge for this temporary ID card is TK20 per day. This temporary ID card must be returned to the reception latest before 10.00 a.m. the following day.
The student identity card ceases to be valid as soon as a student defers, withdraws, is dismissed or suspended, and it must be returned to the College.
