Perdana College welcomes you aboard as our students with great delight. We consider it a privilege to be able to contribute toward your educational journey and the career you are going to undertake.
We have published these webpages as a guide to help you prepare for College life and let you know of the services provided to support you during your time with us.
All new students share a common ground, and virtually everyone asks the same questions. This guide aims to help you to get off to a good start.
The Freshmen Orientation session is a two-day induction event that allows the new students to be familiarized with the following matters before the semester begins:
programs requirements
course selection
academic support services
using the library & IT facilities
administrative support services (registration, fees)
As a new student, the Academic Advisors will decide your course load (i.e. the number of subjects) and the subjects you will take in the first semester based on your previous results and Admission Assessment Test. Some of you may be required to study bridging courses in order to strengthen your foundations.
Check your class timetable and be punctual in coming for the classes.
Get hold of the textbooks within the first week.
Be familiar with the MS Outlook and check your email, Perdana WebMail, and postings in the Bulletin Board daily. If you are still unsure how to access the WebMail, contact IT Help Desk for assistance.
Check your class attendance, assignments, quizzes, tests, and other subject information from EASY, our online course management systems. Make sure you check at least once daily.
